Helping Every Child Play the Beautiful Game
At Prince George Youth Soccer Association (PGYSA), we believe that no child should miss out on playing soccer due to financial barriers. As a non-profit organization, we are committed to making soccer accessible and affordablefor families in our community.
If you need financial support for registration fees, there are several programs and grants available to help cover costs.
Available Financial Assistance Programs
KIDSPORT PRINCE GEORGE
✔ Provides grants to help cover registration fees for families in need.✔ Available for youth ages 18 and under.✔ Funding is sent directly to PGYSA on behalf of the player.

JUMPSTART BY CANADIAN TIRE
✔ Helps remove financial barriers for kids to participate in organized sports.✔ Covers registration fees, equipment, and other costs.✔ Open to families who meet financial eligibility criteria.

PGYSA INternal assistance program
PGYSA offers limited financial aid through our Player Assistance Fund, made possible by generous community donations and sponsors.
✔ Designed to support families facing temporary financial hardship.✔ Assistance is available on a case-by-case basis.✔ Applicants must provide proof of financial need and commit to volunteering at PGYSA events.

Our process

Step 2. Submit your request to pgysa
Step 3. Await approval
Once your application is reviewed, you’ll be notified of your eligibility.
Step 4. Register for PGYSA
If approved, funds will be applied directly to your child’s registration fees.
